Your legal basis to work is tied to the\u00a0<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">permit<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, not a labor contract with a Moroccan employer. (You must still meet passport\/visa entry rules)\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Extra CCM requirements that matter:<\/span><\/strong><\/p><ul><li><span Productions must submit\u00a0<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">lists of foreign and Moroccan technicians (with PIC numbers)<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> and respect the\u00a0<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">trainee ratio<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> of\u00a0<\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">1 trainee for every 8 PIC-holding technicians<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.<\/span><\/p><p>In practice productions should plan to hire Moroccan heads of department and crew, and allocate budget for trainees. The <strong>quota system applies in several cases<\/strong> and is actively verified at the permitting stage. For most productions, integrating a partial local crew should be seen as an advantage, as this approach is typically <strong>more cost-efficient<\/strong> than flying in a full team from abroad.
